Bones Spoilers – Episode 2.02 – 2.05

Early Bones Spoilers for Season 2 Episode 2.02 through 2.05:

Episode Name – ‘The Mother and Child in the Bay’
Episode Number – 2.02 (September 6)

A mother pregnant with her young child are found dead washed up on the beach. She is identified as Carlie Richardson, newlywed and missing for one year. Husband Kyle is prime suspect but goes missing – he freaked out and fled thinking it would be pinned on him. Booth starts an manhunt to search for Kyle, but clues from the scene alert the Jeffersonian team it might not be Kyle. The team recreates the murder scene to identify the body size and build of the murderer – and are shocked by what they find.

A new character is introduced – Drew – who is the new boyfriend of Booth’s ex, Rebecca. Booth is not happy that Rebecca has a new boyfriend who gets to see his son, Parker, more than he does.

Episode Name – ‘The Girl on the Run’ (aka ‘The Boy in the Shroud’)
Episode Number – 2.03 (September 13)

A boy, Dylan Krane, is found dead in an overturned garbage truck. He has broken bones and has been there 3 weeks – his identity remains a mystery until Angela works on a facial imprint from the shroud. Dylan’s parents point the finger at his girlfriend, Kelly, a foster child.

Brennan and Booth find out that Kelly has a younger brother, Alex, and that both are foster kids struggling to stay together in the system. This of course hits home with Brennan. She doesn’t like the finger pointing towards Kelly based on this assumption. Kelly confesses to the murder, but Booth and Breannan don’t buy it. The real murderer makes them shocked.

Dr. Brennan and new boss Camilla butt heads and have a big disagreement about the case – Camilla flaunts her power and threatens to fire her – and even the whole team.

Episode Name - The Bone in the Girl
Episode Number – 2.04

This episode has more than one murder plot line. In the first, Booth is investigating the killing spree of a serial killer, Howard Epps, who is suspected to be killing even while held in jail.

In the second, Booth and Brennan investigate the murder of a teenage girl who is found with a medallion on her body. They visit the headmistress of St. Agnes High School to investigate the medallion.   

Episode Name - The Truth in the Lye
Episode Number – 2.05

Booth and Brennan investigate the death of a man who has been left in a bathtub filled with corrosive liquids (this sounds gross). This man has many people with motives to kill him – his boss, with whom he argued, and his multiple wives, who just found out about each other.
