Bones has been nominated again this year for a Genesis Award. The Genesis Awards are given each your by the Humane Society to various shows, movies and articles that promote humane treatment of animals. Bones has been nominated and has won Genesis Awards in the past.
It’s no surprise to me that the episode, The Finger in the Nest, which involved the team uncovering a dog fighting ring and which also guest starred The Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan, is the episode that is nominated. If this episode doesn’t win, I’ll be very surprised. Here are the nominees in their category this year:

Congrats to Bones for the nomination! I think we’ve got it in the bag. The other shows don’t even stand up. I saw that episode of Law & Order: SVU and I think Bones is much more touching and realistic, IMO.
At least, I HOPE Bones wins!
