The median age, the middle age of the average Bones viewer, is 44! This means there are an equal number of older and younger viewers around the age 44.
First, this means there is a large disparity. Second, it’s likely leaning towards an older audience.
How old are you? Do you think a particular age would be more or less attracted to Bones?

I’m 32. In my experience running a successful fansite for “Bones” and creating a website ring called “The Circle of Bones web ring” which has allowed me to be in contact with a great number of “Bones” fans online, I’ve found that the people I’ve been in contact with are in the age range from 14 to 45. So I was a little bit surprised by your median age of 44, but not shocked. I’m sure the older viewers might not frequent the websites quite as much. I think it’s a very good sign that the show is, indeed, intelligent entertainment, and therefore, is more likely to have the kind of staying power we all hope for.
