Baby Mama opens in theaters tomorrow, and it pairs up two funny women – Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The comedy looks a little crude (I don’t really need to see Poehler peeing in a sink), but I’ll check it out and report back to you, dear readers, and tell you to either skedaddle to the theater or save your hard-earned cash.
It tells the story of Kate (Fey), a single woman with a successful career who’s longing to have a baby. However, instead of putting her climb up the corporate ladder on hold to get pregnant, she hires a surrogate mom (Poehler) to have the kid for her. Directed by Michael McCullers, it’s rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and a drug reference.
