Korbi at Zap2It just released this little tidbit of horrible information. I was both shocked and angry that they would do this to us!! She says that FOX could push back the B&B hooking up scene until the beginning of next season!! This isn’t fair! They’ve been telling us about this since I spoke to the writing team last August.
I’m hoping that it isn’t true, but just in case, Bones fans unite! Leave a comment and let FOX know that we think this is totally unacceptable!!
Here’s the bad news:
So, apparently Booth and Bones may not hook up in this year’s season finale after all. Whaa–? Why? Ask President Obama. I just found out our fearless leader is kind of a c-ck block.
Because of Obama’s press conference next Tuesday, a few prime time scheduling tweaks must be made, and the “Bones” finale could end up being a casualty. Though FOX has not yet made a definite decision, word is, the romantic crime drama will lose an hour to “American Idol” since “Idol” obviously can’t just cut an episode (I mean, as far as I’m concerned, they could actually reduce every single ridiculous results show to eight solid minutes… but you know what I’m saying).
This plan, which FOX is dead seriously considering right now, would push the much talked about “Bones” finale — the episode in which we’ve been promised some no nonsense B&B bedroom action — back to the start of next season.
So, thoughts? If this is something you hard core “Bones” fans can’t possibly accept, you better start commenting, because FOX is apparently going to make a final ruling on this any time now…

The President is speaking on Tuesday why doesn’t Fox preempty the tuesday night crap? Bones is on Thursdays after moving it all over the week.

What I meant is that I can accept a rescheduling of TV programs due to a Presidential press conference; what I cannot accept is that it is always the same shows that suffer because of it.
“Idol” gets 3 hours in a week while Bones risks ending the season without the “finale”: this is unacceptable, notwithstanding the “exeptional event” that is causing the rescheduling.

WTF??????? This is ridiculous! Fox has peeved me enough this season anyway. They let us watch two or three episodes and then we have to miss a few weeks because of Idol, or presidential coverage or whatever. NOT COOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that FOX is somehow trying to get rid of Bones…they are pulling so much crap that they are going drive away a lot of viewers just becuase of thier stupidity.

This is completely ridiculous…not that I’m all that geared up about them jumping into bed together…might change their chemistry…ya know…but pppfffhhhtttttt :0P” on AI. who cares about the egotistical judges, which is really what the show is about, Fox has jacked us out of PLENTY of Bones episode for flippin’ idol…perhaps some of the junkies could use a night off!

That is so wrong. American Idol has turned into the biggest joke, I dont understand why anyone watches it anymore. If I could do something about the matter I would kick American Idol out of the way. Bones is way better than that junk!! Ive caught up on this series over the past well not so long ago and have become addicted to it, so this finale is really important to me too. I really dont want to have to wait that long to see this one happen. (and I want to say to my honey “I told you so” hahhaa So yeah it cannot wait!

“Bones” has been on for 4 seasons, count them 1..2..3..4 with very little action between Bones and Booth. This show has been said to take after “Remington Steele”, for you kids it was a fabulous romantic detective show in the 80s, and by the 4th season of that show they were freaking married! Come on stop blocking what everyone knows needs to happen for the progression of everyone and forget “American Idol”. I do admit FOX truly has built a very nice relationship between Booth and Bones but take it where you promised already, otherwise the 5th season won’t ever happen!

Dear Joe, just don’t watch it, I’m sure are plenty of other shows that you could watch. Obviously it’s not that annoying or you wouldn’t have searched out this article and commented on it a month after it was posted. I know for most people,that the shows they do not like or find “annoying”, they avoid and certainly don’t waste time telling the people that like a show how “annoying” it is. So, I’m sure it’s more like you really love the show, but are too embarrassed to say so….

I find it ridiculous that this Joe guy who is insulting the show took all the effort to come to a Bones fan site. How does that make any sense? This is a FAN site. Opinions like this are useful on the official shows message board…..but on a fan site? Would be funny if it wasn’t so mean spirited.
