Artwork #16: “LOST” by Taylor Stout

lostThe final art piece was revealed last night at the Lost Underground Art Project event at Gallery1988 in Los Angeles. The bigger-than-usual print is titled simply “LOST,” and comes to us thanks to artist Taylor Stout. The website where you can view it in full is nothingsforever.com.

The grand poster is a collage of imagery from across the show’s history, with headshots of each major cast member past and present, and an endless amount of objects and scenes important to the show. You’ll find everything from the Hatch to the Dharma van, but I’m hoping someone will provide a higher-res version of the image soon, as there’s so much detail to take in, it’s hard to make it all out on this particular image.

The poster is also said to contain two hints to the final season, and TheODI points out that one of them is the torch Hurley is holding with the Ankh symbol burning in its flame. The other has yet to be found.

Due to its size, this final poster is going on sale soon for $70, which is $20 more than the other posters have sold for.
