Arctic Monkeys Arena Tour In Support Of 'Humbug'

Arctic Monkeys are sitting pretty at the top of the UK albums chart with third album, Humbug. And they’re now heading out on tour to play the new material to their legion of fans. The tour is taking place in arenas across the U.K. and Ireland this November.

Liverpool Echo Arena (November 13)
Sheffield Arena (14)
Newcastle Metro Arena (16)
Wembley Arena (18)
Birmingham NIA (20)
Manchester MEN Arena (21)
Nottingham Trent FM Arena (22)
Glasgow SECC (24)
Belfast Odyssey (25)
Dublin O2 (26)

Tickets for all venues are due to go on sale this Friday (Sept. 11) at 9am (BST) through the usual channels. All venues will likely sell out very quickly so if you’re desperate to see the Arctic Monkeys this winter you need to be up early and sat by your computer or phone in plenty of time.

There has been much talk of the band having matured and mellowed over the last couple of years. And Crying Lightning would suggest there’s some truth to this. Will that maturity filter through to the live gigs or will Arctic Monkeys take to the stage with as much fervor as they showed when they first burst on the scene?
