Another "Hercules" Remake in the Works

I wonder how many “Hercules” movies there have been through the years. Now there’s another one on the way.

Variety reports that Sheldon Lettich will develop Hercules: The Beginning for Alexander Nevsky‘s production company, Hollywood Storm. Nevsky will also star. I believe Universal Pictures and Nu Image/Millennium are also developing projects based on the muscular Greek hero.

As much as I always complain about remakes, maybe it’s about time for a new Hercules movie. We haven’t had a good sword and sandal flick in a while. And Nevsky looks like a Greek, doesn’t he?
