Yeah, I can see Anne Hathaway as Judy Garland. They do sort of look alike, and Hathaway’s been doing more serious roles in recent years.
And she can sing! I guess that’s why they had her singing at the Oscars this year – to get us tuned into the idea of her playing Judy.
Indeed, Hathaway’s been cast as Judy Garland for a theater and film version about her life, based on the biography, "Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland."
The Weinstein Company recently picked up the rights for both the stage and screen adaptations.
