“Angels and Demons” is currently in post-production and scheduled for a May 15, 2009 release. Directed by Ron Howard, the prequel to 2006′s “The Da Vinci Code” (which I loved) finds symbolist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) investigating the murder of a physicist, Leonardo Vetra. The clues lead to a secret brotherhood called The Illuminati, and Langdon and Vetra’s daughter, Vittoria (Ayelet Zurer) end up searching for a destructive new weapon that could kill millions. Have you heard that there is an Italian actor Cosimo Fusco playing character Father Simeon in Angels and Demons this character IS NOT IN THE BOOK–was added to the film!! He’s famous in Italy known as the George Clooney of Italy— wonder if this changes the book/film and how?????
I will be in Rome on May 14 & 15th. Is that when the film is having its premiere? Do you know where in Rome? That would be awesome to attend!
the book is fantastic, and the actors are SO well suited to the characters! Can’t wait for it!
