Variety is running a story on the fact that Angelina Jolie still hasn’t endorsed anyone. Really, is this news? Do we really care who she endorses? I mean, it’s a free country and she can endorse whomever she wants. But why should that matter to us?
“I have not decided on a candidate,” Jolie has said. “I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees, and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world.”
In June, Entertainment Weekly asked Jolie if she ever talked politics with Clint Eastwood, director of her upcoming film, Changeling. He’s a registered Republican, by the way.
“Actually, we don’t disagree as much as you’d think,” she said. “I think people assume I’m a Democrat. But I’m registered independent, and I’m still undecided. So I’m looking at McCain, as well as Obama.”
Ok, she’s free to tell us, but it won’t change my political views. Just sayin’…

She is a political dummy, you can’t decide the presidency on matters like refugees, what kind of crap is that? i think in the end she went for McCain. I don’t see her as a supporter of president Obama. I know Brad is democrat and supported Obama and was in chicago nov 4th 2008, But Angie was probably at the McCain-Pallin defeat rally
Angelina is my hero, and inspirational to many around the because of her big heart. Go Angelina
I hear ya on this one! Do we really care what Angelina does? She also wore a vial of Billy Bob’s blood around her neck, after all. Is this really who we want to emulate?
It’s scary to think that people would look to actors (or Oprah) for guidance. sheesh!
