What sort of nonsense...?

"A. B. is a good actor who could be great – he should be careful to chose quality parts. Most TV viewers had hardly heard of him until ‘Garrow,’ neither had I. The reason? The Fixer and Party Animals had violence and sex scenes in them – a turn-off for a lot of people, as it shows both immaturity and lack of talent in the writers. Good script writing does not need scenes that include sex and violence"... AUDREY

Party Animals was not mature?!?!? Party Animals had NO violence and EXTREMELY TASTEFUL and RARE "LOVE" scenes... I mean, you can't be serious... A.B., was so ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT in Party Animals that I have to assume that you, in fact, are the one who is immature... You could NEVER have written Party Animals (it was so well done), and the casting was absolutely amazing. I do hope that anyone who reads Audrey's ill-informed comment will take the time out to, at least, watch Party Animals in total (available all over the Internet depending on where you live)... it is a work of art.

It's a tragedy that it, Party Animals, was only one season.

Andrew Buchan is a force and I can't WAIT to see him do more... I believe he will be in Richard II at the beginning of next year.

BTW, I never saw the video... I clicked play and a million pop-up ads infiltrated my browser.

Is it possible to get another video interview with Andrew Buchan? I'd love to know what he is up to now - Film, TV, Theatre?
He seems like a chameleon who can change and seep into various characters quite easily. In the eyes of real lawyers one can often see a 'hawk-eye' intelligence, having a gaze that could kill from a hundred yards away. But this 'demeaner' is not necessarily seen in actors who play them. However, I noticed it in Buchan when playing Mr. Garrow, and wasn't surprised to find he too is an alumni, (although not of law).
Then, when I watched the Eclipse, he'd seeped into the character of an A&E doctor, quite the opposite to a lawyer. (Doctors very rarely look ahead of their immediate surroundings, as their 'prey' is usually wounded and unable to run away). I used to work for the NHS, some years ago now, and Buchan looked the splitting image of a doctor I knew then, when he was the same age as Buchan is now. Quite amazing!

Good script writing does not need scenes that include sex and violence - just take a look at the Danish crime thriller The Killing. Hardly any of that in it, and yet people are spellbound by the series and can't wait for the next instalment.
