We’re expecting a formal announcement of the end of the writers strike any day now, after word leaked Saturday that the WGA was close to an agreement with production houses.
The Huffington Post has detailed analysis, but all I really wanted to know was if the writers would get paid for multimedia work (yes, but maybe not as much as they’d like) and whether we’ll start seeing scripted shows back on the networks soon (depends on which networks, but many a fall schedule has been compromised).
As I’ve said before, Showtime shouldn’t be hit by delays. But other networks aren’t in as good shape. Check here to see when your favorite shows are set to return.
