We all dream of a perfect wedding, whether it be in a church, on a beach, or in the back garden of our friends, but sometimes life gets in the way, and we don’t get a choice where to confirm our love for our partners.
That’s the way it is for Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who are reportedly planning on renewing their wedding vows in London’s Pentonville prison where Blake is currently being held on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Okay, so they’ve already had their main wedding, but prison wouldn’t exactly be my first choice for any kind of romantic gesture, so I don’t really understand why they are bothering.
I can only assume it’s to piss off all those people who think that Amy’s life has taken a downward turn since she became involved with Blake, and would rather see them split up than commit further to each other.
That includes most of her family, who think that she may start to get help for her addictions if Blake wasn’t around.
What’s stupid is that the couple have only been married since May last year, so renewing their vows seems a bit premature. Does anyone else think they’re trying too hard to prove they’re in love?
Winehouse is currently staying at Bryan Adams’ villa on the island of Mustique in the Caribbean, where she spent the new year.
Who cares if Amy and Blake want to renew their wedding vows after only a short time since their original vows.
This chick is anything but conventional and we should expect anything from her. Big deal. Next!
