Amy Winehouse Naked – Junkie Singer Poses Nude For British Magazine

Amy Winehouse may be a lot of things: a junkie, a manic depressive, a brilliant singer, a five times Grammy award winner, much sought after, and someone who badly needs a dentist. But what she isn’t is worthy of a naked photo shoot.

She hasn’t let this hinder her though as she’s recently posed nude for a British magazine as part of a campaign to raise breast cancer awareness amongst young women.

According to the NME, the naked pictures of Winehouse, naked apart from some duct tape over her nipples and a well placed guitar hiding her most intimate parts, is in the April issue of Easy Living magazine.

Winehouse was photographed by Carolyn Djangoly for the campaign, which has also featured Sade and Helena Bonham Carter.

Good on Amy for supporting such a well meaning cause, and I hope that the pictures, and the obvious publicity they will garner, will do some good in raising awareness.

However, I don’ think I’ll be buying a copy of the magazine, as no matter how much I appreciate the girl’s musical ability, seeing her naked (at least in her current state) may cause me to be sick.
