Amy Winehouse continues to display signs of mental distress, with the latest being a virtual breakdown at Waterloo train station in London.
The Rehab singer was due to be boarding a Eurostar train to Paris and had gone through check in and the security barriers when she suddenly changed her mind and tried desperately to get back to the main part of the station.
Amy, who was accompanied by her tour manager, reportedly had an attack of nerves over leaving husband Blake Fielder-Civil in Britain.
This may surprise some after many rumours that Amy and Blake are about to split up to save each other from themselves.
An onlooker told The Daily Mirror newspaper:
“Amy was crying, gesticulating wildly and shouting while the man with her was trying to calm her and get her through the gate. She mentioned Blake’s name more than once.”
“Eventually they went through security, but then Amy came running back. She hurdled the security gate then ran up the escalator, shouting and screaming, into Waterloo station concourse. It was quite a sight – this tiny girl with a massive beehive leaping over a barrier. It was pretty clear she was not keen on getting on that train to Paris.”
A policeman stopped Winehouse escaping any further, and she was eventually persuaded to board the train.
What is the girl playing at? It seems that despite showing signs of starting to recover from her addiction and depression problems, she is still prone to massive relapses.

I kind of feel bad for her. But when I first saw this post I had to think… EVERYTHING happens at Waterloo station! I was just walking through one day with my head down reading the paper and nearly smacked into Matt Damon when he was filming the last Bourne film. Crazy!

Funny, only yesterday I was looking on eBay for tickets for her gig in Zurich in two weeks time. They’re more than twice face value at the moment, on the strength of this, I don’t think I’ll bother!

Hi,
Don’t know much about Winehouse; and, with this being my 1st real intro. to the artist, I’m a little disappointed. Maybe she was having her period, be like that sometimes–go a little bonkers at that time of the month.

A woman where I worked had a breakdown in the ladies restroom. Someone found her wedged down between the wall and the toilet, shaking and mumbling something about low wages. That speaks volume for the modern workplace, I guess–bad enough to drive you crazy. Wages, however, couldn’t possibly be Amy’s problem, though.

I’m going to go ahead and say it. Amy’s out there cryin’ and yellin’ for ol’ flakey Blake. She ought to just get herself a new man. That shouldn’t be too hard. Hang out a little, shake her tail feathers and the men will come running. Nibble the ear, promise a little lovin’ (even though they ain’t gonna get NOTHING for a whole 6 months!). This time, though, she ought to get a man who can cook. That way she can luxuriate in the bath then paint her nails while her man does the chef thing.
