For the past few months we’ve all been very worried about Amy Winehouse’ state of mind and also physical health. Not only has she been abusing her body with stack loads of drugs of all variations, she has lost an incredible amount of weight… too much in fact.
We all know the reason for Amy’s recent dramatic weight loss, so it fills me with some pleasure that she seems to be making an effort to gain weight now, after turning to a diet of fast food. Maybe I’m just being hopeful but could this be the first sign that Amy wants to start being a bit healthier?
It’s weird to be equating fast food with healthy eating but when you are as painfully stick thin as Amy, anything which makes you put weight on and fast has got to be good. But will this be of any benefit if she doesn’t also come off drugs at the same time?
Winehouse has apparently eaten McDonalds for the last 7 days and gained an incredible stone in weight already. Also high on her menu has been carb heavy Caribbean food such as yams, dumplings, bananas, jerk chicken and rice and peas.
At the depths of Amy Winehouse‘ ‘problem period’ a few weeks ago she was thought to have slumped to just 6 and a half stone in weight, and resembled a stick insect… a drug addict one at that.
Come on Amy, keep it up, get to a healthier weight and stay there. Also, you know that place they call Rehab, it’s time you swallowed your pride, ignored your own song, and gave it a go. It can’t be all bad!
The picture of her at a healthy weight is from years ago, when she came out with the album Frank. It’s not a recent picture of her at a healthy weight. She was so much more vibrant and beautiful then, it’s sad how fame gets to some people. That’s why she doesn’t have any tattoos. I’d be surprised if she was at that weight again, last time I saw a recent pic of her she was still super skinny. And all of you should stop hating. Do any of you actually KNOW the girl? She’s got incredible talent and it’s people like you who have driven her to such a dark place.

The picture of her weight gain was taken before the skinny one. Notice the tattoos. They do not vanish and she has clean arms.

If I hadn’t read the comments I wouldn’t have believed how silly some people are. A good article and so awful to see what drugs have done to a talented young person. What a terrible role model she is for young women. I feel sorry for her family as well.

look i think Amy Winehouse is fucking brilliant i love her i think shes deadly fair enough she can look after her self abit more but shel come back as well as britney spears i fucking love them to .
amy should put back on her weigh it does look horrible but whats meant 4 u in life wil happen and whats not wont and amy will come back when shes ready and yes i do think she should come off her drugs but if she ever came over here on tour i would be the 1st to buy a ticket shes had it hard but she brilliant

Not the same person. I have read this blog and many seem to think they are the same person. However, if you notice the “fatter” Amy has a single visible tattoo. This tattoo is located on the right forearm. However, the more modern picture of Amy has many tattoos yet not the right forearm. Hence, unless laser surgery was performed to remove this tattoo they are not the same person.
