Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been arrested and held on drugs possession charges in Norway.
The couple and an as yet unnamed British man were arrested in the Southern city of Bergen where Winehouse is due to be performing tonight. Police found 7g of marijuana in their hotel room.
The three were held for twelve hours before being fined 500 Euros and released.
The police apparently received a tip off and raided the troubled singer’s hotel room on the strength of it. Or they could just be as aware as the rest of the world about the couple’s reputation for substance abuse.
At least it was only cannabis which while still illegal can’t really be claimed to be as harmful as cocaine or heroin which Amy is alleged to have taken in the past.
The night she overdosed and was rushed to hospital back in August she is supposed to have taken coke, ecstasy and ketamine, as well as drinking a shit load of alcohol.
The show is expected to still be on tonight, which for Amy is quite an achievement, as she has quite the history of cancelling gigs.
