Amon Amarth's The Avenger Next Up For Re-Issue

Amon Amarth’s Once Sent From Golden Hall was re-issued and released a little over a month ago, remastered and with a live cd. The next album up for re-issue through metal blade records is their 1999 release, The Avenger. The announcement came on their myspace page this morning:

Disc two features the live recording of the show AMON AMARTH played on December 29, 2008 in Bochum, Germany where they played the album in its entirety.

The order of songs is the same as on disc one (excluding ‘Thor Arise’). This reissue (and all the other ones to follow up later in the year) will be released as an eight-sided double-digipak with individual pop-up. All four pop-ups attached to each other show a special three-dimensional pic. The reissue also features liner notes by the band.

The Avenger is set for a May 26th release date on Metal blade records.
