Missing Amaury Nolasco? Well you can check him out in his current role in the film, Street Kings!
Amaury plays the role of Detective Cosmos Santos, who battles dangerous Los Angeles gang members after a fellow officer is murdered. Amaury plays alongside Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Chris Evans, and Hugh Laurie.
In a recent press conference, the actors were asked how they felt about police officers before acting in the film, and if their views changed after. “I’ve always had a problem with authority,” Amaury said. “But I have to say that I the utmost respect for the guys in blue, putting themselves on the line all the time. I guess we don’t realize it all the time either. We call 911 when we have petty little things. I guess we don’t realize how they put themselves on the line for so much stuff that when we get a bad attitude coming from them, we were expecting them to be smiling and whatnot.”
They were also asked if any of the actors were hurt during filming. Keanu reminded Amaury, “When we’re going in that car there was a lot of kicking, wasn’t there? I kicked you in the chest, didn’t I?”
“There was me beating you with the rubber gun,” Amaury replied.
Keanu said, “Yeah, the hard rubber gun, and ripping his face off for a couple of days.”

Moral of the movie: everybody dies! Except Tom Ludlow & James Biggs… LOL… Not only was The Game there, so was Common! Real multi-starrer movie!

Saw that movie last Friday, really good!! When I saw him I was like “Aaww it’s Sucre!”. It’s good to see Amaury in another kinda role ;o)
The rapper The Gayme [Jayceon Taylor] also plays an role in this movie… An small role, but still… I HAVEN’T seen it yet, but I WILL… … TODAY :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) :-P :-P LOL, ROFLMFAOOOO
I love Amaury Nolasco’s performance in both Prison Break and this new movie which i had just seen yesterday.
I love any action movies containing Keanu Reeves because all his movies are good.
And even though Amaury’s acting there was limited he still looks great.
I love Amaury, i think he acts really well. But i’m not sure if i like him as a good guy, or as the bad guy though.
everytime he swore or fired the gun in street kings i was like “what?! sucre?!”. i guess he needs to get into more movies or else he’ll always just be sucre to everyone.
I saw the movie over the weekend. So good to see Sweet Sucre again, and that cute smile of his.
Good movie, but violent.
When I watched Street Kings, I didn’t check the star list, and I only knew Keanu Reeves was the main star. I was truly surprised to see Amaury (Sucre papi!) in the movie. Oh how I missed him!
I hope they won’t forget Sucre in PB season 4.
Me watched it just 2 days ago! Amaury’s role is limited though… I only watched it to see him & that ultimate, ultimate hottie (after Went of course!) who goes by the name of Chris Evans ;o)
