Let’s face it. It’s a really weird society we live in when famous actors and musicians are treated like, well, like rock stars. They’re just doing their job, but because we see them on TV and at the movies, it’s like they’re gods or something.
I’ve talked to enough of them to realize they’re a lot like us. Only with more money and more problems.
Anyway, Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier (that’s him, all scruffy in the photo) has made a documentary about it called “Teenage Paparazzi.” And he’s wrangled a bunch of stars to participate, including Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria, and Rosie O’Donnell.
More after the jump…
Sounds interesting: The film surfaced on gossip sites when Grenier was seen around Los Angeles with interview subject Paris Hilton. It’s all about his relationship with a 14-year-old paparazzo who took his photo.
The doc features Grenier interviewing actors and commentators — including Martin Landau, Noam Chomsky and Daily Show comedian Lewis Black — about the culture of fame. Guess he knows something about that.
