Actress Brittany Murphy Dies at Age 32

This morning, actress Brittany Murphy died at the young age of 32. She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, and a 911 call was made at  8:00 am, from her husband, Simon Monjack‘s home and unfortunately, she was unable to be revived.

Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.  Reports are that her mother found her in the shower and that when paramedics arrived, they immediately administered CPR, and continued the procedure while driving to the hospital.

The LAPD have reportedly launched a death investigation and will be proceeding with a full autopsy, despite the fact that husband Simon has said he doesn’t want the autopsy performed. Brittany’s mother told police that she has a history of diabetes, though it is not known whether this was a factor in her death.

Former boyfriend Ashton Kutcher, shared some words about the situation on his Twitter page, “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany’s family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon.”

This such a sad story, especially considering how young Brittanty was. Condolences to her family, friends and husband.
