Could the "A-Team" be coming to a theater near you sometime soon? I hope not but I’m trying to stay open to the idea. Director John Singleton is said to be in talks with Fox to bring the 80s television classic to the big screen. Naturally, there’s all kinds of casting gossip. Ice Cube is rumored to be taking on the role of B.A. Baracas (originally played by Mr. T) but, so far, this is being denied by Fox. Thank goodness. I love Ice Cube and all but "I pity the fool" who tries to replace Mr. T in that role. I loved him (and this show) so much that I even bought his cereal (does anyone remember it?).
The storyline, written by Jayson Rothwell, "revolves around a group of Iraq vets wanted by the U.S. military for a crime they didn’t commit. Their adventures combine helping the innocent while running from the law."
I hated what happened to Miami Vice so, hopefully, this will be different, if it happens at all…
