Her show may be on hiatus, but HawthoRNe star Jada Pinkett Smith is not letting the break slow her down in the least.

People magazine reports that the actress and her movie star husband Will Smith have a very impressive joint gig coming up: traveling to Oslo, Norway, in order to co-host the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s 16th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on December 11.
Said the famous couple in a recent statement: “The opportunity to recognize the laureate’s contributions to the world peace movement will be an awe-inspiring experience. We are both humbled and honored to take part in the Nobel Peace Prize Concert this year, and look forward to sharing the historic evening with artists and humanitarians from across the globe.”
Equally nice is the talent announced thus far to perform during the event, such as former Fugee Wyclef Jean, country music artist Toby Keith, and disco diva Donna Summer. Hope Jada and Will enjoy the festivities when they take place.
Incidentally, the announcement of the fortunate person chosen as the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate will occur on October 9.
HawthoRNe will return for a second season in 2010.
