A Little Pre-Premiere ‘Gary Unmarried’

The time has almost arrived for the debut of Jay Mohr‘s new sitcom Gary Unmarried, originally known as Project Gary. Mohr plays the title character, Gary Barnes, a recently divorced father of two seeking love and stability in his life, just like most of the rest of us. It’s not a particularly exciting premise, but a lot of viewers will probably relate to it.

Check out a pre-premiere behind-the-scenes clip after the jump. And, yes, that’s Al Madrigal of the short-lived CBS sitcom Welcome to the Captain from last winter visible for a split second. Here’s hoping his latest character, Dennis Lopez, isn’t as bizarre as that show’s Jesus was; the oddball quirks became a bit distracting.

Gary Unmarried airs Wednesdays on CBS at 8:30pm EST.
