This week is the Winter TCA tour (The Television Critics Association) and FOX revealed that this may not be the end of 24! Would you want to see a 24 Season 9?
As far as Kiefer Sutherland and executive producer Howard Gordon is concerned, they’ll keep doing the show as long as FOX wants them to.
“This is one of the greatest gifts of my life, doing 24. So I’m open to it,” said Sutherland. “Right now, my focus is on finishing season eight.”
“It’s certainly a possibility,” said Gordon, who explained that it’s always been FOX’s option whether to continue or not, even when Sutherland had years left on his contract.
FOX Entertainment President Kevin Reilly chimed in, telling iF Magazine that it’s the last contractual year, but who knows what will happen next in regards to a 24 Season 9. “I’m very thrilled with this season. The reception will be very positive from an audience standpoint. We collectively said, ‘let’s let it launched, get into Spring and sit down and talk about it.’”
Reilly adds that it’s in Spring that writers will have to break stories for next season, so that’s the latest they could make a decision.
“I certainly know Kiefer loves and would continue to do it,” says Reilly. “But it’s such a hard show to produce [for the producers], that we’re going to let them finish [this season] and regroup.”

I really would love to watch 24 season 9, i keep on checking for update , please let us know when season 9 would be out, and second give jack a better life he has always been the hero and lost everything at the end lol
It is not only US where people love to watch 24 but the season 9 will be appreciated even miles far from US in Afghanistan. So we want to see jack Back it all depends to Kiefer Sutherland we love you in Afghanistan

season 8 was the most brilliant action piece I have ever seen.A season 9 will make my life complete bring it on pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

24 TV series is one of a kind, a great great TV series I’ve ever seen. So please make a Season 9 ASAP. If there is a season 9, I want you to bring back Mr. Tony Almeida and of course the season is not complete without Chloe O’brian beacuse she is the only left friend of Jack Bauer… Hope you will keep doing Season 9.
Ghanaians want 24 to be 24 seasons .
season 9 should shoot in Africa; with Jack as President or secretary of defence whose policies are internationally cross-cutting. he is concerned any terrorist movement before it extends to American soil. he employs the only people he can trust to handle such operations and that is where Almeida comes alive to lead the operations in Africa. But one of their operations goes bad and so provokes African Mafias to attack the US. The mafias are fighting with all types of weaponary including magic….with the ability to appear and disappear and also to turn into other persons as they choose.
whatever the case may be, we need a 24 season 9 badly
well season 8 was brill would be nice to see jack get a big thank you for what he done for is country and let him run the new ctu and to have a love life where they dont die on him PLEASE MAKE A SEASON 9
I can’t watch any other series until I watch season 9. Something is missing in my life and that is 24-season 9.
