Here are some details of the filming of 24 season 7:
Season 7 of 24 promises to be its tensest yet — at least on the set.Execs at the Fox hit have scrapped virtually their entire story line for the season, delaying the start of production by roughly three weeks. According to sources, the 11th-hour time-out was called after the network put the kibosh on a costly plan to shoot a number of episodes in Africa. Producers briefly toyed with the idea of finding a location in Los Angeles that could sub for the continent, but they ultimately decided to ditch the whole concept and start over from scratch.Although a Twentieth Century Fox spokesperson declined to comment, 24′s expert scowler, Mary Lynn Rajskub, confirms that the clock for Day 7 has been reset. "I don’t know what’s going on over there, but they’re going crazy," says the scene-stealer, who learned only last week that Chloe would be returning. "We usually start [back up] at the end of July, and I don’t think we’re starting until a couple of weeks into August now. It’s kind of exciting, because I think [the postponement] means that they’re really having to dig in there and come up with new stuff."The show’s creative team was no doubt already feeling the pressure: Day 6 was considered to be about as explosive as a wet firecracker, so for Season 7 they really needed a plot that was incendiary. In fact, news of the setback comes on the same day the semiannual Television Week critics’ poll (in which yours truly participated) named 24 the second-worst show on TV, behind ABC’s best-not-traveled October Road. omg wow…. I could sit here all day long and watch every single season from the begginning until i pass out. lol I have never seen any shows/videos/movies that are as intense as 24. Personally 24 is the best show ever made. Keep up the outstanding work.
Good call, 24FlowsThroughMyVeins. Frankly, I don’t think any real person would have been able to function without some signs of psychosis after spending 20 months in a high-profile Chinese prison . . . but then again, this is Jack Bauer, of course. And yeah, good thing that CTU will be gone in 2009, though I’m glad that Chloe and Buchanan will be coming back. They need to stop killing off ALL the good characters . . .
Don’t forget to add these to the list:
10. His dad threatened to kill his nephew, and him, and was linked to terrorists.
11. His brother was essentially willing to kill him.
12. Three(-ish) of his friends were killed within the course of 24 hours on Day 5.
13. He had to shoot two colleagues for the good of national security over the course of his career.
14. His lover was shot as she tried to escape the villains on Day 2.
15. He had to chop off his daughter’s boyfriend’s (his own partner’s) hand.
16. He found out his daughter is dating her older therapist. (ouch)
17. He found out the therapist is a namby-pamby jerk. (ouch again)
I’m sure there’s more that I missed.
To people that say Bauer should lose at least once…. Consider the following.
1. His ex-girlfriend, Nina, tried to kill him, several times.
2. His Wife was murdered by his ex girlfriend.
3. He was addicted to Heroin.
4. He was tortured to death, then brought back to life only to be tortured more.
5. He had to fake his own death.
6. He spent 20 months in a Chinese Torture Camp
7. His daughter will not talk to him
8. Audrey, his newest girlfriend, is catatonic after being tortured while trying to find him.
9. The government gave him up to islamic terrorists to be killed.
I think he has lost enough. I think it is a great idea that CTU is gone. CTU kepps second guessing his expertise. Why would want to work for a set of people that can’t trust you half the time.
I miss 24!!!!

So is it official that tony is comming back? I read that they scrapt the whole script does that mean they are scraping that stupid idea. If they want to make someone a villian they should make it either Jacks nephew or his daughter since she did go through a mental break down early on. Also I can’t remember but did that woman that shaked david palmers with that chemical die? She seemed like a bad ass and would be a good match for jack.
Ok everyone – it’s official. 24 is postponed until spring of 2009 because Fox does not want to air episodes over the summer (which is a lower ratings period generally). They claim that they are doing this to respect fans wishes that the entire 24 episodes be aired without interruption.
Personally, I’d be fine with them airing them without interruption . . . IN 2008!!!! But they’re not willing to start doing so over the summer or even to interfere with their fall line-up.

Yeah this season better be good, I still wanna know when season 7 is going to begin. Waiting really sucks. Does anyone know what the actual date is going to be?

But good news! Jack Bauer (erm… Kiefer Sutherland) is out of jail!
Hope that 24 will come out this month or the following if it does i will be there to see it season 7 is the best
how.can u say that season 4 was boringbthat was the best yet. season. 6 was good. but still it will prob come on by the end of febuary or begging of march.
I just seen the trailer and I can see why they delayed it . The writers are getting desperate. They brought back tony as villian wow! that seems desperate to me and how can they really possibly take away ctu from jack. 24 and sopranos our my favorite shows and seem like 24 will end like the sopranos a disapointment.
24 Season 2 is the worst. 24 better be good this time around. If you realize 24 has a trend. Season 1 good, Season 2 – worst season, Season 3-awesome, Season 4-Slept through some of it, Season 5-Amazing, Season 6- Alright. You know what comes next. Season 7-best season yet. Although the fact that they’re bringing back Tony is hard to believe even though they are. Tony died in Jack’s arms. Hell, if Tony could come back, then Curtis and Milo should too. Hell!!! The plot to make Tony a bad guy is good but they sure as hell have to explain how he didn’t die in Season 5.
thats too long what do u mean is coming in 09 i dont think so is coming out this year is season 7 next year would be season 8 two shows @ the same time it cant happen @all and then the Movie too is going to be film in 2009 it cant is going to come out season 7 this year if not this month maybe next or the following month i know the strike is still on but it could finish this month or the next one.
