Here are some details of the filming of 24 season 7:
Season 7 of 24 promises to be its tensest yet — at least on the set.Execs at the Fox hit have scrapped virtually their entire story line for the season, delaying the start of production by roughly three weeks. According to sources, the 11th-hour time-out was called after the network put the kibosh on a costly plan to shoot a number of episodes in Africa. Producers briefly toyed with the idea of finding a location in Los Angeles that could sub for the continent, but they ultimately decided to ditch the whole concept and start over from scratch.Although a Twentieth Century Fox spokesperson declined to comment, 24′s expert scowler, Mary Lynn Rajskub, confirms that the clock for Day 7 has been reset. "I don’t know what’s going on over there, but they’re going crazy," says the scene-stealer, who learned only last week that Chloe would be returning. "We usually start [back up] at the end of July, and I don’t think we’re starting until a couple of weeks into August now. It’s kind of exciting, because I think [the postponement] means that they’re really having to dig in there and come up with new stuff."The show’s creative team was no doubt already feeling the pressure: Day 6 was considered to be about as explosive as a wet firecracker, so for Season 7 they really needed a plot that was incendiary. In fact, news of the setback comes on the same day the semiannual Television Week critics’ poll (in which yours truly participated) named 24 the second-worst show on TV, behind ABC’s best-not-traveled October Road. I think the actor was superb, and none other than him should of played Jack’s Dad.
He was both creepy and creative.
I know that the actor James Cromwell played the role of Jack’s father Phillip Bauer in season 6. Before his appearance on screen when Jack was looking for his father, my husband and I (both huge 24 fans) looked at each other and said, how cool would it be if the role of his father would have been played by his real life dad, Donald Sutherland. Did that cross anyone else’s mind? Just curious. I wonder if Donald was ever asked to consider the playing the role?

I strongly felt that Nina and Tony would have not died. Nina would have escaped and continued with her storyline, like run and hide. She would have rented an apartment somewhere in a posh surburb appartment .they would have showed us her life living alone with fear that ctu will find her,her boyfriend visiting her, having romance, going out,then ctu would have sentTony Almeda to find her but shes proving to be too smart for him and some emotional love scene between her boy friend and her. This could be intresting to 24 funs. Who agrees ?
I’ve seen the trailers for season 7 in Youtube…it would be really cool if Jack joins Almeida against the goverment and Kim goes against her father…if Kim dies jack returns to CTU!
Guess what in Fall 2008 there is going to be a 24 movie! It is between seasons 6 and 7!

i would never put in a line each season and choose the best and the worst, cause every each one its awsome.

am so bored to wait until spring 2009 for season 7. fox aint doing right with this. they should think of the fans and the people that pay money to buy the dvd boxsets.
I am re-watching season 2 and boy, I forgot how good 24 is.
As for season seven ideas, throw all the current ideas out the window. What they need is some new Material. No more Nuclear weapons, No More Gas/Chemical weapons. They need something new. Something like a Neutron bomb (for those of you that do not know what one is it is a bomb that in Theory wipes out all organic tissue leaving building, trees, cars/ everything else intact) some planted in Several key cities that ACTUALLY GO OFF, or possably several small ones planted in Key places like “THE WHITE HOUSE” which could take out key players like say “THE JOINT CHIEFS” wipeing out a huge portion of are countries leadership dealing us a cripling blow!! This could all happen while bringing back Key people like Jack’s doughter Kim, his girlfriend Audrey, and Chase from i believe “DAY 3″ which could be a good allie for jack. They could also choose to bring back president Palmer because they did not show what happened to him. Hell, even bring back Audrey’s father and Mike Novick. They could be good character in important roles to kill off adding even more suspence while looking for the Neutron bombs that are still remaining in other key locations vital to the success of are nations Infrastructure, such as Wall Street (where Audrey could possable work now haha). They could easly do all of this by switching locations the story takes place from LA to DC. Jack could also be head/part of the presidents secerity detail (NEWER JOB FOR HIM) which would put him right in the middle of the Action without having to wast time to explain where he has been for the last year or two finally haha. some many good ideas i tell ya and i have more but i’ll stop here
Ok i have read some of the comments regarding season 6, all i have to say is “BULL ****” ok, it may not have been as good as the rest of the other “DAYS” in the show but, it was still WAY BETTER then any other show on TV, I thought season six was still very good and like all the DAY’S before season 6 i did not want to stop watching the whole time. I mean come on, in some ways they steped it up, jack kills His old partner “WHICH NO ONE SAW COMMING” and secondly a NUCLEAR BOMB WENT OFF IN A KEY CITY (LA). You tell me what show or movie has something that big happen in it. Also, for those of you that said jack always wins, Please, SHUT YOUR MOUTH, again i have NEVER seen anyone on any tv show or movie for that matter that has LOST more than poor Jack, read some of the comments above mine for proof of that,

Wow some real interesting thoughts! I can’t believe season 7 is delayed until 2009. I’m personally hoping it gives them plenty of time to review it and make sure it doesn’t suck like season 6. Being a die hard fan of 24 and I can’t seem to watch the second half of season 6 really says something. I personally want Jack to lose it and go crazy for once, why does he always have to do the right thing? Maybe cos he’s the good guy is a fair point but after everyting he’s gone through and the way CTU still treat him… I’m not surprised that so many of the employees join the bad guys!
As for Kim.. what’s the deal with her being funny with Jack? I don’t get it, the country is at stake and he’s put that on hold to save her sorry ass which seems to get kidnapped time and time again. I think it’s about time she saved her dad for once and on that point you’d think Jack’s daughter would be a little smart! She’s damn sexy though ;) Shame they killed off some great characters but it’s 24 and you never know who will be back!
Someone spotted a great trend though, season 1 being great, 2 not so great, 3 nice, 4 a little dull, 5 Awesome! 6 ermm cough! Maybe different teams write it. I know in my company we have 2 teams wich produce every other version of the same game to take a break. Every other version is a no1 hit, the other team are a little disappointing. Might not be the case but it’s the same trend. Looking forward to season when I can get through the rest of season 6!
ya i hope that kim comes back like for good cause in season 6 she wasnt in it very much i dont no why they like made her hate her own father like that
