Tony was not surposed to die
I have to agree with the above opinion regarding how little you see Jack. It’s just not the right time. He’s what makes the show, without him it just lacks luster.
Does anyone know where I can see the last episode of 24 season 6? I saw every flippin’ one but the finale’. If anyone knows and can tell me where to find it WITHOUT buying the season dvd, can you email me? DSalazar316@yahoo.com. Thanks!
I actually think none of you understand what 24 is about…
To call Season 5 a “fkin lethal” season goes to show that as long as there is a protagonist with a gun, lots of shooting and an insane president (which goes against the norm, hence is cool): voila, best season ever.
Season 6, in my opinion was amazing. Probably one of the best and the ending, I think, left us wanting more. It wasn’t a cliff-hanger….it was just…an ending. Hence it was powerful because it was so different from the rest.
Season 5 is probably the most boring logan focused one….the wife and that wierd music they always play every time she would appear…eyucch. Retarded story line..
just because it won emmys doesn’ t mean jack
I have just finished an action packed 2 months watching the entire 24 series. My memories of the past seasons is fresh, and I wouldn’t say that 6 was that bad. It was a bit predictable; Morris being the engineer, the 25th amendment etc…but it was good. It was exciting in the first few episodes when Jack is obviously not the same guy, ie. throwing up after killing Manning, and crying…it added a lot of depth to his terminator character. A couple things that bugged me were that Jack never gets tired….bright and early in the morning hes dropped off after 20 months of Chinese torture…obviously messed up, but he manages to run around shooting and killing not missing a step? I’d expect a few weeks of recovery after his treatment…kinda like Audrey is requiring…in Season 1 they seemed to emphasize that it was a long day “This is the longest day of my life…” The other thing is more of a question…did his silent clock indicate that Jack as we know him is dead? ie. hes renouncing his violent ways, or he’s renouncing his country? anyways, those are my thoughts…
Why is everyone calling this the worst season ever.
I just finished watching Day 6 due to the fact that work caught up in the past and just couldn’t make time to watch it , and I have to say despite it not being the best leaves no reason to completely bash this season.
A lot of you complained about the ending and to be perfectly honest even I expected a more riveting cliff hanger if any. However , the fact that they ended Day 6 on a more human level than simply setting up for yet another amazing season is a true testamony to just how real the characters of this show really are and how grateful we should be that there is still a television show that doesn’t undermine that fact.
Sure there were a lot of characters who’s fate lay in the balance as to whether we will ever see them again , but if there is one thing the makers of 24 have done incredibly well is to always patch
things up in the end. Since we didn’t get the answers we wanted this season , I am confident as always that Day 7 will reveal all the outcomes
of the characters most people have considered abandoned.
In closing , though it was not my favorite season it was still entertaining and still left me cringing for the next episode , and despite the more subtle finally to day 6 I have no doubt in my mind that day 7 will aid in continuing to keep this show at #1.
Because lets face it , in an age where we are bombarded with Reality T.V. I for one am grateful
to be able to watch a show that does not only have great acting{for T.V. mind you] but riveting story telling and very likable characters.
wooowwww bring on season 7 an how can toni b alive an nina myers i dnt understand can sum1 help me undastand
i thought it was a great ending to a not so great season. I do see it as a second trilogy closer and i thought it was as good as the season 3 ending. In terms of cliffhanger, of course jack isnt about to kill himself, i dont think thats what the writers wanted us to think about, it was more about jack fully realizing how shitty his life is
Hey,
I am a great fan…
Just back to that comment from Asim about the alternate endings… Its just so stupid… They were both bogus and it hurts me to think that tony would be bad it is just ridiculous.
Tony Almeida is a patriot!
I love 24 and while I can see where some people are coming from in regards to this season but I for one still loved it. Alright, it wasnt as good as the previous days but the change of pace was refreshing and enjoyable and seeing that Jack simply cant get on with life shows how human “super Jack” really is. People say they want a cliff-hanger so they have something to wait for in next season but surely everyone (as I will be) will be waiting for the movie and next season just as much anyway. I think they needed a complete ending so next season they can start with a clean slate and have a good run at it.

Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! rbfwxsqmsu
I’m one of 24′s biggest fan. i love it, but the finale was really dissapointing and pathetic. It wasnt exciting. it was kinda boring. What was the silent seconds at the end for?. When Tony died they didnt put them in and i’d say that tony’ s death was more imporatnt and dramatic than the final. Not that i hated Tony. I think it was the worst final in the whole of 24. There was questions that needed to be answered, like:,
1. what happened to Bill and Karen?
2. what is jack gonna do now hes left audrey?
3. is wayne palmer still in hospital?
There was basically no ending for the other characters. I thought that the ’24 crew’ can do much better because of seasons 1-5 were ace!!!
i might sound like i hate 24 but i think it is a great show but the finale spoiled the whole season.
What do you guys think of the final?
LOSER ABOVE!!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS QUITE GOOD BUT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IN LOT OF WAYS!!! JACK WAS ONLY IN SOME EPISODES 2MINS!!! I KNOW THE GUY ABOVE HES A CROSS DRESSER AND HIS ACTUAL NAME IS RICHARD TAYLOR IF ANYONE WANTS TO KNOW!!!!
WAT A LOSER ABOVE!!! hATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!!! 24 ASNT GREAT BUT I DI ENJOY IT!
u FAT NERDS!!! GET OVER IT!!! loooseeerrrrsss!
Okay, here’s what I think about the season’s finale episode!
It was nice to see that Karen was going to try and help Jack, in a way. It was even better to see that Bill Buchanan did everthing he could to help Jack! Big yay for the two of them! I guess that it would’ve went differently if there wasn’t a Buchanan or Hayes to help Jack. He might would have reached the shore too late. Jack has done what he wanted, he saved the kid and that piece of the bomb was destroyed!
But then he wanted to go and see Audrey Raines. That whole scene was amazingly sad, and I’ve cried a lot about that scene. My guess is that Jack might be making a mistake here. Maybe Audrey does not want to understand why he’s leaving her. She might NEEDS him to recover from what the Chinese did to her, since he’s been through the same. So they could talk about it together and try to help each other out! After all it was AUDREY who tried to save Jack, all alone, in China. It was Audrey who kept saying she wanted JACK to help her! Even though she didn’t recognise him all the time, she did at some point know it was JACK, when they had a little moment together. So it upset me to see that Jack left her alone but made me a little angry at some point as well. And then the silent clock, that was horrible! It made me cry even harder while I was trying to stop!
Okay, now my opinion about the whole season… it’s been a good season. A bit unlikely though if you see what Jack has done for his country this day… He JUST got back from the Chinese, then he was told they were going to sacrifise him… and it didn’t took him that much hours to recover from China, or to recover from Bill telling him they only got him back from China to let him get killed right after! I’m not sure if I would be able to try and rescue my country the same day. Not if they get me back to let me get killed right after, and not after I’ve been tortured EVERY single day by the Chinese, for two years. Look how Audrey was doing, and she wasn’t even there for that long as Jack was!
But besides all that, it was a good season. Nice story… only I fear for day 7 coming up since I’ve read there’s no CTU anymore and that they will probably not shot it in America… which means that maybe Audrey will not be there anymore… IF she now listens to her father and stays with him… somewhere in America. I know Chloe will be there… but maybe she’s now with Morris living together with her baby or whatever… maybe she will not be working or contacting Jack anymore either! And there’s probably not going to be a terrorist anymore. Pff… we have to wait until more things will be revealed about season 7. Hopefully WITH Audrey though! And hopefully it’s going to look good, not just going to be the beginning of the end of 24.
