Also Kristen at E!Online says we don’t have to deal with the hostage situation forever! “Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait much longer to get some resolution. Executive producer Howard Gordon tells me, ‘We’ve done a few of them over the years, and they tend to be fairly static affairs. There’s only so much mileage you can get out of them. It was something we considered playing longer in, and we only played it as long as we felt we could. It really doesn’t amount to a standoff, so it doesn’t last more than a couple of episodes.‘”
