The NBC dramedy Lipstick Jungle is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Sex and the City columnist and author Candace Bushnell. The series follows three New York City-based career women who each face various struggles as they strive to rise in their professions and remain in charge of their lives.

Brooke Shields (Suddenly Susan) portrays married film company executive Wendy Healy, while Kim Raver (24) takes on the role of ambitious magazine editor-in-chief Nico Reilly and Lindsay Price (Beverly Hills, 90210) plays single fashion designer Victory Ford.

The men of the Jungle include David Alan Basche (United 93, Rescue Me) as Nico’s work rival Mike Harness, Brits Paul Blackthorne (Big Shots, The Dresden Files, 24) as Wendy’s stay-at-home husband Shane and Julian Sands (Ghost Whisperer, 24) as bossman Hector Matrick, former Brat Pack-er Andrew McCarthy (Weekend at Bernie’s, Pretty in Pink) as a multi-billionaire named Joe Bennett who’s after Victory’s heart, and David Noroña (Lincoln Heights, Six Feet Under) as lawyer and guy friend Sal Rosa.
