Hornets Sting Shorthanded Celtics
The Boston Celtics have a number of injured players including Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo. On Friday, the New Orleans Hornets went into Boston and beat the Celtics by a final score of 83-81. Ankle Surgery for Andre Johnson
Andre Johnson, considered by many to be the best wide receiver in the NFL, will have ankle surgery next week. As you might guess, he’ll sit out this weekend’s game for the 5-10 Houston Texans. Nick Van Exel’s Son Charged with Murder
Nick Van Exel’s son, Nickey Van Exel, is facing a capital murder charge in the death of Bradley Eyo. Eyo’s body was found near Lake Ray Hubbard with a gunshot wound. Lake Ray Hubbard is located in Dallas, where Nick Van Exel played for the Mavericks from 2001 to 2003.
According to Nickey Van Exel’s attorney, Paul Johnson, the two were horseplaying with a shotgun when Eyo was shot. Van Exel then panicked and moved the body.
