Big East to Add TCU
The Big East desperately needed to add a football power to their conference. TCU desperately needed to join a conference with BCS automatic-qualifying status. The two sides decided to tie the knot. TCU will join the Big East for the 2012-13 season. Currently, TCU is ranked third in the BCS after finishing the regular season with an undefeated record.

Troy Tulowitzki to Get $160 Million
Troy Tulowitzki is the franchise player for the Colorado Rockies. He’s about to get paid like it. According to numerous sources, Tulowitzki is about to sign a 10-year contract worth approximately $160 million. The superstar shortstop is coming off a year where he won both the NL Silver Slugger and a Gold Glove.

Juan Uribe Cashes in with Dodgers
Juan Uribe was bad in the playoffs last season for the San Francisco Giants heading into the World Series. However, he had two home runs and nine RBIS against the Texas Rangers in the World Series to help the Giants win their first championship in San Francisco. The Los Angeles Dodgers apparently took note as they’ve signed Uribe to a $21 million deal over the next three seasons.

Adrian Peterson Injury Update
The season went from bad to worse for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday when Adrian Peterson injured his ankle during the second quarter of their game against the Washington Redskins.
