Ryan Theriot Traded to the Cardinals
After signing Juan Uribe, the Los Angeles Dodgers needed to free up room in their infield. They were able to accomplish just that by trading Ryan Theriot to the St. Louis Cardinals for Blake Hawksworth. The move will allow Uribe to play second base for the Dodgers, while Theriot will get a new start after struggling in his 54 games with the Dodgers last season.

Stephen Jackson Suspended for Ref Abuse
Prior to the season, the NBA made it a goal to have players argue less with the referees. One of the main culprits in recent years was Stephen Jackson of the Charlotte Bobcats. On Tuesday, Jackson was made an example out of when the NBA suspended him a game for his conduct towards ref Eli Roe.

James Harrison Fined … Again
For the fourth time this season, James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers has been fined. His latest fine was for $25K, which brought his season total up to $125K. Harrison’s latest fine was due to a helmet-led hit on Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Steelers linebacker was called for roughing the passer on the play.

In overtime of the Pittsburgh Steelers 19-16 win over the Buffalo Bills, the Steelers suffered a potential loss. Heat Brush Off Trouble, Topple Wizards
For one night, at least, the Miami Heat were able to ignore the issues surrounding the team and come together on the basketball court. Playing the Washington Wizards without John Wall, the Heat were able to win by a final score of 105-94. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all played well for the Heat in the victory.

Andre Johnson Not Punished for Throwing Punches
Andre Johnson melted down and threw punches at Cortland Finnegan. Apparently, AJ’s good reputation worked to his advantage as the Houston Texans wide receiver only got fined $25K. Considering that many thought Andre Johnson could be suspended, a $25K fine is basically nothing. Finnegan, a defensive back for the Tennessee Titans, received the same punishment for getting punched.

Yesterday, we showed the video of LeBron James bumping Erik Spoelstra, the head coach of the Miami heat. Today, LeBron James denies that he hates Spoelstra and says that he didn’t bump him on purpose.
