There’s still time for schools to fire coaches (or for coaches to retire), but things have slowed down a bit, and I think we’ve seen most of the changes that are going to happen this year. It was a big year for fires and hires, with over 20 schools welcoming new leaders. But how do these schools grade? I’m going to do this in multiple parts, since there are so many schools with new coaches. Here’s my opinion, though.

When I first saw this lot, I thought Fallout 3.
If you’ve never played Fallout 3 or haven’t even heard of it, Fallout 3 is a game about a post apocalyptic world and it looks a heck of a lot like what Electopanda has so expertly created here.
The backstory on this lot is great so I definitely suggest you give it a read on the Overview page before you download the lot.
Though the lot looks like it would be totally… More »
One of my favorite new commercials out right now is the new one from Walmart that has the dad dressed up as a clown and getting ready to surprise kids at a home birthday party. The expression on both the clown and the kid’s faces is just classic. With my Indianapolis Colts playing in the Super Bowl, I’m obviously excited about the big game next week, but I think I always look forward to the commercials as… More »
Indianapolis Colts All-Pro defensive end Dwight Freeney might not be able to play against the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV in a week. Apparently Dwight has a torn ligament in his right ankle that will make it very difficult for him to play—if he plays at all. The Colts are refuting that report, saying that Dwight has only a low ankle sprain and remains questionable, not doubtful, to play next Sunday. Dwight was excused from his mandatory Pro… More »
I may be wrong, but I think Hugh Laurie’s greatest popularity has been gained since his appearance and starring role in the Fox television drama, "House, M.D.". It’s been one of our regular shows since we first watched it and every new episode is captured on the DVR each week. Hugh has done plenty of other work prior to his stint as Dr. Gregory House, but here’s a video of him you may have not seen up until this… More »
I’ve been making a mental list of the custom content I want to include in my Sims 3 install. Since I got that nasty virus, I’ve had the pleasure and the annoyance of starting all over with my Sims 3 game and that means all the custom content has to be all reinstalled.
The Aleya Modern house is the first custom thing I’m going to download.
The lines are great. I love the colors. The curb appeal is exactly what I would… More »
As my wife and I continue to gather more information about homeschooling our kids, I continue to find more and more education related resources that’s not just related to homeschooling. The Internet4Classrooms has a variety of educational resources. I wrote awhile back about the Spelling City website that has been helping my kids master their spelling lists for the classroom. The folks at Spelling City let me know about the Internet4Classrooms website. With Internet4Classrooms… More »
"Is that on Hulu?" That’s a question I’m starting to hear more and more these days. My how times have changed haven’t they? Now there are so many different online video websites, trying to keep track of what’s on and available on what site is getting as challenging as what’s on cable television. What we need is an online clicker guide. The Clicker website is setting out to accomplish being an online broadcasting guide. I can’t… More »
Alright gentlemen! The schedule for sweetheart Danica Patrick is out and we have what you have been thinking about. The newest and best looking racer to take to a NASCAR track in quite a few years, maybe we could get her to pose for a racing calendar featuring, just her behind the wheel. The calendar is sure to sell out as soon as it hits the stands, with the boys fighting over a spot in the line up. The opportunity… More »
Wren Cottage for Sims 3 is the perfect example of a theme done right.
It’s kind of country without being the fake early 90′s country and has a certain coziness that makes it seem almost like a real house.
What you get with this lot is either a furnished or unfurnished traditional, three story house with a detached storage room/shed.
The creator of the lot noted an issue with the stairs where Sims will sometimes start to head up the… More »
NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball.
What is it about the NBA? All of my friends say the same things to me about how hard it is to watch the NBA. They don’t play any defense, forgetting those great Piston teams that lived on defense. The sad part is all of my friends are right. The Pistons just got blown out by Miami and they did not play any defense…. More »

If there’s one thing I haven’t done as much of as I would like, it’s travel. The irritating part is I worked in the travel industry for seven years and still didn’t travel as much as I should have. Let me make it clear though, don’t get into travel for the travel benefits, they really weren’t there like you would have expected. Regardless of how frequently you do get to travel, the next time your planning… More »

Dodge, Ford or Chevrolet? There has always existed a battle of sorts between beliefs in the superiority of the type of car each team uses during the races of NASCAR. For Penske Racing, the only team that still works with Dodge Motorsports, the 2010 NASCAR season is just more of the same. While most teams and owners look at Penske’s alignment with Dodge as a mistake that could potentially cost the team, Penske and the team look at Dodge as… More »
