Her show may be on hiatus, but HawthoRNe star Jada Pinkett Smith is not letting the break slow her down in the least.

Said the famous couple in a recent statement: “The opportunity to recognize the laureate’s contributions to the… More »

It’s so hard picking my favorite character on Leverage since I love the entire cast. But I think if push came to shove, quirky-yet-lovable Parker would have to get my vote.
The cunning character, an ace thief, is played by actress Beth Riesgraf (pictured above), of course. It’s a good thing she’s in excellent shape, too, because besides Christian Kane’s fight-loving muscle man Eliot Spencer, she’s the cast member who spends the most time performing impressive stunts. Who hasn’t seen her… More »
The WSOPE is down to it’s September 9 and unfortunately for Texas Dolly, he is out in 17th place. After a raise from Daniel Negreanu, Doyle moved all-in on the button. Small blind James Akenhead – who is part of the November 9 – moved all-in with AKs and took down Doyle’s Q9.
James Akenhead is currently sitting in 2nd place in the WSOPE final 9. Daniel Negreanu also made it to the final table but he is… More »
Because of the busy schedule I have lots of backlog of tech magazines to read and one of them is my Wired subscription. This morning I managed to pick up my August (can you imagine that, its already October!) Wired magazine and was reading the article which discuss how much time you spend in front of a screen. The time management allocation read something like: reading 1.5 hours on traditional media, .75 hour on twitter, 1 hour on Wii Fit,… More »
Ricky Nolasco has been relatively disappointing this season. However, Nolasco reminded everyone of his potential with his performance on Wednesday. Going up against the Atlanta Braves, Nolasco struck out 16 batters — an all-time record for a Florida Marlins pitcher.
Perhaps most impressively, Nolasco struck out nine straight batters. With one more strike out, he would have tied Tom Seaver for the most consecutive strikeouts in a game.
With Nolasco fanning batters left and right, the Marlins were able to beat the… More »
James Harden, the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, is quickly figuring out how physically demanding it is on the professional level. The rookie out of Arizona State got hit in the eye in the first day of training camp and then sprained his ankle on the second day.
The good news is that Harden’s injury isn’t believed to be serious, although he could miss a few days of training camp. The Thunder begin… More »
Did you happen to miss the exclusive online chats TNT held with Dark Blue stars Dylan McDermott and Omari Hardwick on August 28 and September 15, respectively?
Well, never fear because the network was kind enough to create videos of both one-of-a-kind opportunities. Take a look at one or both discussions after the jump to hold you over while we fans wait patiently to learn whether a second season of Team Carter is in store.
Be warned, however, that both clips are… More »
Gabba Gabba Hey! The Ramones’ biopic has been in the works for a while, and it’s moving one step closer to that big screen. And not just the one Vincent Chase talks about on “Entourage” either. Fox Searchlight is working on a movie deal about the legendary rockers, based on the upcoming memoir by Joey Ramone’s brother Mickey Leigh and longtime Ramones biographer Legs McNeil. There’s a lot of rights issues to be worked out,… More »
This morning a colleague forwarded to me an article that Andrew Bartels from Forrester wrote and published on Sept 29. The title of the article is “US And Global IT Market Outlook: Q3 2009″ and is described as “The Tech Recovery In Q4 2009 Is Still On Track, Despite A Worse Growth Rate For 2009″.
I am not sure if I am reading the page correctly, but the download of the document costs around US $1749? Anyways, as based on the… More »
You guys are killing me. Seriously, killing me. Last month, we talked about social networking, which is definitely the bottom of my list of “favorite things to do.” This month? Editing. Sigh.
I have a confession to make. Editing is the bane of my existence.
I know; I’m a writer, so I should be able to write well. I know the rules of grammar. I understand the difference between “there” and “their.” I can use a semicolon with ease. I do well… More »

So many men strive for big, muscular arms but many don’t accomplish their ideal goals. Some may set their sights to high, but for others the problem may lie in the weight room.
When building your biceps, you always want to focus on the bicep muscle and forcing it to carry the burden. Many guys are so obsessed with their weight room ego, they lose sight of what they’re actually after: big arms. Instead of using proper forms… More »
The Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup will be run at Belmont Park on Saturday, October 3rd, and the favorite for the ten furlong test will likely be Belmont Stakes (G1) and Travers (G1) hero Summer Bird. He is the other bird no more, and he has become especially dangerous since adding blinkers and showing much improved tactical speed.
The Tim Ice runner should take up a nice stalking position once again, but a horse he vanquished in the Travers (G1)… More »
