The Positives of Marketing in Newspapers

The Positives of Marketing in Newspapers

In recent times, the newspaper industry has taken a huge hit. In fact, many newspapers across the United States have been forced to go out of business. And that’s why it’s easy to discount the conferences associated with them, when so many people use the tools as a hobby rather than a profession.

When Will Michael Vick Sign with a Team?

Michael Vick recently said that he’s close to signing with an NFL team. However, a few sources close to the NFL don’t believe that is accurate. Many sources believe that Vick is a few weeks away from signing — at the earliest.

The aspect that is clouding Vick signing is the fact that he still has to serve a five-game suspension. The suspension was handed down by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell when he granted Vick the partial reinstatement. If a team… More »

August is all about fiction!

Now, I realize that most of you don’t make money through fiction writing. That’s ok. However, most of us have dusty files on… More »

Down For Everyone Or Just Me

Down For Everyone Or Just Me

Sometimes the best sites and resources end up being the simplest ideas executed to perfection. Google has a lot of fans because of the simplicity in the way it does search. I believe one of the reasons the iPod design is so popular is because of the simplicity of the controls. The same simplicity in design also works well for websites. The downforeveryoneorjustme.com site does exactly what the domain name suggests. It quickly lets you know if… More »

Usually, when I’m working I prefer quiet to noise. If the TV is on, I get sucked in to old episodes of Full House. Radio isn’t much better, especially because the DJs in my area are hilarious.

The one thing I will have as background noise, occasionally, is music. I thought it would be fun today to share your favorite work playlist! I have a special list of songs that are my favorites as I’m writing. Yours might change daily. In… More »
