Following the example of former Nebraska/Arizona State quarterback Sam Keller, former Rutgers quarterback Ryan Hart and former California quarterback Troy Taylor have filed suit against video game developer and publish EA Sports, part of Electronic Arts. The players say that EA Sports used their likenesses without permission for the popular NCAA Football game they publish annually.
In the lawsuit, which was filed by attorney Keith McKenna, accuses EA Sports of "unjust enrichment." They say that the use of their names… More »

Engadget, CNet and Kotaku are all abuzz right now over the rumored PS3 Slim that might, maybe, possibly be available in July.
July, folks.
While I have strong love feelings for my PS3, Darwin is a bit of a brick and while I don’t see myself tossing him anytime soon, a slimmer version would be a nice thing to dream about.
Here’s the original PS3 Slim link-have fun with the Google translation. It’s an interesting read.

The world of Priston may already be a fading memory on my side of the pond, but it’s proving to be alive and well in North America. In the same light, summer is a thing of the past here, but tomorrow, July 1st, is the start of the fuzzy season in the New World.
Let’s take a look at what’s in store for players of Wicked Interactive’s Priston Tale this summer:
Wicked Interactive, a leading North American online games publisher, is launching… More »
NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball.
It was ultimately a player revolt and Coach Michael Curry was the victim. You see, in the NBA the players and especially the star players rule. Michael Curry was a rookie coach and a coach that had my doubts on his ability to do the job from the very beginning.
If being a rookie coach on a team that was on the way down was not bad… More »
In elementary school, we learn to say “John and I” all the time. It’s formal. It’s polite. It’s right.
Or is it?
Actually, using and I when talking about being with another person isn’t always the right choice. It is often instinctual to use and I, since it was drilled into our heads throughout school, but sometimes, the correct term is and me. *Gasp* Yes; it’s true – you can use and me sometimes and be grammatically correct!
But when?
Use and I when… More »
Since being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January, NCAA president Myles Brand hasn’t made many public appearences. This past Sunday, however, Brand came out for the Pathfinder Award Ceremony, where he was honored along with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and the WNBA’s Tamika Catchings.
Brand’s acceptance speech was less than five minutes long, but it’s more than most expected. He didn’t come to the NCAA’s annual Washington, D.C. convention, nor did he make trips to San Antonio or Orland to pick… More »
Australia’s greatest golfer, PGA legend Greg Norman, has signed on to play in the next three Australian Open tournaments, including this year’s event at the New South Wales Golf Club. Norman has not played in the tournament since 2005, where he tied for 26th at Royal Sydney. “The Shark” has captured the Stonehaven Cup five times in his career, and at 54 years old still exudes the cool confidence that a sixth title is within reach.
Along with his commitment to… More »
Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White is a svelte 229 pounds these days. That’s a far cry from the portly 261 pounds he was lugging around last season. And with Titans OTAs and minicamps officially over, LenDale is promising to remain disciplined so he can report to training camp (inside of one month) in the best shape of his career.
It might be because this is a contract season for LenDale, but he is showing a new level of commitment:

What is the difference between a Treasury bill and a Treasury note? A note and a bond?
The government offers several alternatives for potential investors. T-bills, T-notes and T-bonds differ in terms of how long they take to mature and the types of payments attached to them.
Bills – T-bills are short term bonds with maturities of up to 52 weeks. A T-bill is a pure discount loan, meaning that the price you pay up front will be less than the face value… More »
New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi might be preparing for his final season in the NFL. After 13 years with the Pats, Tedy says he won’t commit to anything beyond this season. I guess he can see the handwriting on the wall. Tedy’s coming off a season where he really didn’t play on third downs and he didn’t have any sacks for the first time in his career.
He spoke about his plans (or lack of plans) during a football camp… More »
Kids, this video is a good illustration of why you should NOT drink and play with fireworks at the same time.
I know you’re going to anyway but be careful.

– Uh, You Know … Probably Not –
There’s an old Scottish saying that it’s better to buy a man a beer when he’s alive than to cry at his funeral when he’s dead.
So, while I believe Michael Jackson was an important cultural touchstone, a brilliant pop songwriter and one of the best dancers of our generation, I’m already tired of the posthumous Michael Jackson hype.
And, everybody … stop saying, “His music will live forever.”
Maybe it will last for… More »
