Boston Herald Hikes Prices
To keep up with competitors and avoid bankruptcy, which has been affecting so many print media companies, the Boston Herald has decided to raise prices of the daily newspaper from 35 cents to a $1 an issue.
The price increase will take start on May 11 within the 30-mile Boston radius, though the prices outside this 30-mile area will remain the same price. Prices have already been $1 or more per issue outside of Boston.

Disney’s Hulu Deal Hurts YouTube
Disney’s new deal with Hulu to put their ABC shows on the site may hurt YouTube, which is owned by Google and has a revenue-sharing busines model, reports The Wall Street Journal. Google has felt pressure over the last several months to add better content to YouTube.

Bulls Defeat Celtics in Triple Overtime
The Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics put on another instant classic. On Thursday night, the Bulls defeated the Celtics in triple overtime by a final score of 128-127.

NVIDIA Releases Drivers for Windows 7 RC1
Coinciding with the release of Windows 7 release candidate 1 (today for MSDN and Technet subscribers and on the 5th for the laymen), NVIDIA has released drivers for the OS. The package comes in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors The tech-heads over at Anandtech declare version 185.81 “much more polished” than 185.71, released for the first beta version of Windows 7.

Courtney Lee Injury News – Fractured Sinus
Courtney Lee, the rookie sensation for the Orlando Magic, could miss the rest of the playoffs. Lee suffered a fractured sinus after taking an elbow to the face from superstar teammate Dwight Howard during Game 5 of the team’s first round series versus the Philadelphia 76ers. In the contest, Lee was only able to play six minutes before leaving the game.
