Honda Links Human Brain With Robot

Honda Links Human Brain With Robot

– Thoughts From Man Control Actions of Android –
Officials at Honda Motor Company announced they have produced a breakthrough technology which reads “patterns of electric currents on a person’s scalp as well as changes in cerebral blood flow when a person thinks about four simple movements.”

The experiment went horribly wrong when the researchers neglected to file down the sharp edges on the android’s mouth and forgot that a man thinks about sex every seven seconds.

Supernatural Rocks at the LA Creation Con: Part Two

Supernatural Rocks at the LA Creation Con: Part Two

When we last left the LA Creation Con, Jared Padalecki was delivering coffee to his co-star Jensen Ackles – sweet huh? Except ten seconds later we all hear the voice of Dean Winchester shout, “What are you trying to do to me!” Jared shrugs and says, it’s very strong coffee. But me, I’m thinking of Alona Tal telling the story about Jared trying to get her to drink coffee with soy sauce in it. . . yeah. Talk about… More »

Compound Interest: Blessing and Curse

Compound Interest: Blessing and Curse

Like so many things that have to do with money, compound interest is both a blessing and a curse — depending entirely on which side of the yield you are on. If you are on the receiving end of the yield, compound interest is a great blessing and a great way to grow your wealth. Unfortunately, if you are on the paying end, you already know how devastating and expensive compound interest can be.

Simple v. Compound Interest

Simple interest basically means… More »

Bye Bye Corporate Jets – Welcome Bigwigs

Bye Bye Corporate Jets - Welcome Bigwigs

Ahh it seems there’s always a new story popping up about some company’s CEO’s or other executives being scrutinized and critiqued for their way of doing business. Most of it comes with the bailout right? I mean if the government is going to give you all that money, they want to know what it’s being used for and who’s doing what with what right? Funny, I don’t get the same transparency with my tax dollars now do I?

Walgreen Pulls WA Pharmacies in Protest

Walgreen Co. announced this week that they’d be pulling nearly half of their pharmacies out of Washington in protest of the state’s  plan to change their drug reimbursement policies.

Medicaid in Washington plans to insist that their patients use cheaper, generic drugs, rather than brand-name drugs, whenever equivalents are available. In turn, they’ll also cut the rate of reimbursement on drugs for pharmacies that supply them. The plan will drop reimbursements by 6%, which will help keep Medicaid possible for Washington… More »
