30GB Zune Owners Experiencing Widespread Failure
Three items on my will-purchase-sometime-in-the-near-future-hopefully list right now include an Amazon Kindle, a new Logitech webcam and the 120GB Zune. Current 30GB Zune holders aren’t too happy right now as there appears to have been systematic failure of 30GB Zunes across the land recently. The opponents for all 2009 regular-season games have been determined and a complete list of each team’s home and away matchups was issued yesterday by the NFL. The scheduling formula implemented in 2002 with realignment guarantees that all teams play each other on a regular, rotating basis. Time Warner and Viacom Fight on New Year’s Eve, Screens May Go Black
Shares of Time Warner (Ticker: TWX) kicked off 2008 above $16 and have since fallen 37.5 percent. TWX saw a lot of red, but it may start the year off in the black…
According to the Austin Business Journal, Viacom (Ticker: VIA) and Time Warner are battling over a fee hike proposed by Viacom. Viacom claims the fee hike will translate to less than 25 cents per month per subscriber. Time Warner says the problem has arisen due to Viacom’s other ailing revenue streams.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has spoken out and said that he believes he can dominate world No.3 Novak Djokovic, if they meet at the inaugural Brisbane International tennis tournament next week. It appears that Andy Murray wants a little boost to his profile. He is currently ranked as number 4 and hopes to change that for this upcoming 2009 tennis season. Rumor has Bill Cowher turning down the Jets job, because Brett Favre is the quarterback. Apparently Coach Cowher is adverse to a risk taking quarterback at the helm.

There’s a standing myth about telco networks. It’s the same with bandwidth and population density for Internet connection: the more congested the network is for the holidays (SMS greetings and the like), the worse the connection gets. Thus, results from holiday telco greetings (Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!) are evidently “problematic” to some extent when it hits Christmas or New Year’s eve.
