The Cleveland Browns’ luck has gone from bad to worse. Any quarterback controversy officially ended last week when then-starter Brady Quinn’s season ended with a injury. He had replaced Derek Anderson nine games into the season and the “Brady Quinn Era” had begun. Now, no sooner did Derek get his starting job back than his season looks like it’s over after he suffered an MCL sprain today during the 4th quarter of a miserable 10-6… More »

I’m one of those weird people who really don’t expect or need my phone to do much else than make phone calls. That was until I ditched my PDA (a Sony Clie at the time) and went with a PPC-6700 SmartPhone running Windows Mobile. I quickly discovered that having a completely mobile device with full Internet connectivity, ability to natively open and use Microsoft documents, and to synch between my main laptop computer without much second thought was a… More »

Having fun at a wedding is one of those things that delivers the memories you will always remember right? I know the times that I’ve been one of the groomsmen in a wedding, we were always thinking up something silly to do during the ceremony. Don’t think we ever could have planned for something like this to happen. … More »
The 11th Annual Independent Games Festival is set for March of 2009 and will be held in the lovely city of San Francisco. The Festival has put up its list of 226 of entrants, not including the list of 145 student titles that will be part of the Student Showcase. For those of you interested, take a gander at the list… More »
I’m sure we’ve all experienced that time in our lives where we’ve been in some situation where we shouldn’t be laughing, or at least not out loud, and we just can’t get ourselves under control. Check-out this video of a Belgian TV host that can’t keep from laughing at his guests on a talk show about surgeries gone bad. It turns out this little bit of laughing fit ended up costing the host his job and killed the show… More »
Big changes are in store here at Grounded Fitness. While I am saying good bye to my blogging partner, Susan, who has moved to her own yoga blog at She Knows Yoga, I am also using this as an opportunity to make some additions to Grounded Fitness.
The main difference? Its going to be all Kelly, all the time.

…if you are already in good physical shape. A recent study showed that older men between the ages of 44-60 did not show any boost in physical performance. They did show muscle gain and strength; however.
Healthy older men who given large doses of testosterone show increases in muscle mass and power, but no improvement in physical function, a new study shows.
This was likely because the men in the current study were “unusually fit for their age,” Dr. Thomas W. Storer… More »
I was supposed to post this article under a different title, somewhere along the lines of “What’s next on MMOtaku’s plate,” or something like that. But it just didn’t jibe with my current thrust to make future stories more search engine-friendly.
Anyway, this posting isn’t about search engine optimization. It’s about what I’ve been doing these past two weeks aside from nitpicking at my misadventures in Zhu Xian and ranting about wanting to quit Perfect World without actually leaving. Hmmm, that… More »
We’ve been talking about casting news and rumors for “New Moon” over on this post. Come join in the discussion! That’s the much-anticipated sequel to “Twilight,” scheduled for a 2010 release date. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, star Kristen Stewart (pictured) confirmed that shooting for “New Moon” will begin in March. She said, “A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we’re going to get to go to Italy, which is so… More »
Down to the last five in The X Factor 2008, and no real surprises about who went. Ruth Lorenzo was booted off the show for having the least amount of votes to save her, and if we’re honest, it was well overdue. Yes, she has an impressive set of lungs but Leona, she’s not.
Each of the contestants sang two songs, one by Ms Britney Spears, who performed in the results show, and one other. The judges final vote has also… More »
Wow, November is over all ready and the end of 2008 is right around the corner. Where the hell does the time go? We’ve seen some exciting fights this year and it can only get better…or can it? To me it seems that some promotions are shooting for "Super Fights" to draw cash instead of singing matches with people that deserve a title match. That’s nothing really new though, is it? Anyway, I have a few things and link of… More »
