Baseball Postseason Schedule 2008 – MLB Playoffs
The Chicago White Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday to earn the final spot in the 2008 baseball postseason. The White Sox won 1-0 and got their lone run on a Jim Thome homer. John Danks gave up only two hits for the White Sox over eight innings before Bobby Jenks threw a perfect ninth inning to seal the deal.

Stop us if you have heard this refrain before, but the TV vultures are circling over Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles. From our own Prison Break Buff comes word that FOX execs are at least partially blaming the Terminator lead-out for a dip in Prison Break ratings.

Vancouver Names Luongo New Captain
The Vancouver Canucks have named goaltender, Roberto Luongo, their new captain. It’s the first time a netminder has held that position for the team.
