At the NFL’s Annual Meeting today, it was announced that a total of 32 compensatory choices in the 2008 NFL Draft have been awarded to 15 teams. The stock market finished up its first quarter of the 2008 calender year with a positive note for the day, but the quarter overall was a mess.

The S&P 500 lost 10% for the first three months of 2008 as worries of a recession and a subprime crisis has lead to continuous selling. This round goes to the bears.

In Domino’s Killed Her Puppy in 30 Minutes or Less, we recounted the tale of Odie, the 5 month old Jack Russell terrier whose life was cut short by a tragic pizza related accident. Domino’s corporate office blames Odie’s owner, Lisa McConnell, for not keeping her puppy on a short leash. Lisa McConnell says the same of Domino’s and its driver. After reading McConnell’s comments, FranchisePick.com suspects it was a suicide.
