At the NFL’s Annual Meeting today, it was announced that a total of 32 compensatory choices in the 2008 NFL Draft have been awarded to 15 teams. Under terms of the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in a year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. 1st Quarter 2008 Ends Ugly
The stock market finished up its first quarter of the 2008 calender year with a positive note for the day, but the quarter overall was a mess.
The S&P 500 lost 10% for the first three months of 2008 as worries of a recession and a subprime crisis has lead to continuous selling. This round goes to the bears.

Hollywood studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. reached an agreement with one of Abu Dhabi’s largest real estate developers for an entertainment destination likely to cost billions of dollars, or the equivalent of seven tanks of gas.

In Domino’s Killed Her Puppy in 30 Minutes or Less, we recounted the tale of Odie, the 5 month old Jack Russell terrier whose life was cut short by a tragic pizza related accident. Domino’s corporate office blames Odie’s owner, Lisa McConnell, for not keeping her puppy on a short leash. Lisa McConnell says the same of Domino’s and its driver.
